This is a course shared by MIT and ECAL students, where we set key codes as languages and speak the language through VIRTUALHUB, a device professors of 2 schools made for this class. 2 students group together to create an interactive design about “Here and There” to collaborate, talk, communicate with the other one in the other side of the world.
01 Way of Interaction
We were both very fond of the idea of remote collaboration. Instead of social computing like Lark, Google Docs where people work together remotely, we need something that people could design, create, and collaborate together. We had the idea of co-working on painting, sculpturing, playing games, and finally we reached the idea of Zen Garden.
